Wilsons School is a selective state school for boys that enjoys the Telegraph’s ‘State School of the Year’ status. Wilsons have exemplary standards and RIVA were delighted to be appointed by them to run a robust cleaning and wardening tender, seeking a contractor to partner for the school who would both meet and support such standards.

The specification design for the tender took some time, as we were keen to capture not only the clear, key objectives of the school, but also the specific operational requirements they had regarding both the cleaning and wardening services they require. The inclusion of KPI’s within the project were key – so as to emphasise the importance of an excellent service delivery going forwards throughout the contract delivery, not just an excellent tender response!

The outcome

The school were delighted to find a cleaning and wardening partner that matched both their high standards, and their ethos as a school. This was key to the longevity of the contract and the development of a true partnership.
